The Ting Tings are back on the scene with a new album, ‘Super Critical’, released late last month and with a tour that will include a show at the Haunt on November 23rd.
Following ‘We Started Nothing’ and ‘Sounds From Nowheresville’, the Mancunian duo have released their third album, ‘Super Critical’, that features the new singles ‘Do It Again’ and ‘Wrong Club’.
Kathie White and Jules De Martino formed the band in 2007 in Salford, Great Manchester. They became successful with the single ‘That’s Not My Name’ taken from the number one album ‘We Started Nothing’, which came out in 2008. Since then they have played some huge shows such as Glastonbury and the Isle of Wight Festival. They released their second album, ‘Sound From Nowheresville’, in 2012.
The album release tour will see The Ting Tings play a warm up show in London, followed by several dates in Europe and UK and will finish with two dates in Japan.
‘Super Critical’ was recorded in Ibiza and it is not a coincidence that their new singles have a fresh dance beat. Wear your comfortable shoes and get down to The Haunt to dance with The Ting Tings.
Tickets are £15 plus booking fee. The gig is 14+.
