What do you say to underground artists having a great platform to display their talent to a wider audience? Sounds pretty good to me Charlie Sloth. Two Brighton rappers have got the opportunity to partake in BBC Radio’s personality Charlie Sloth’s new scheme called “Fire in the Streets” and already received 4 digits views in a short time frame. Soapbox favourite Ceezlin got his opportunity in late February whereas the most recent video has came from another Soapbox specialist in Gizmo.
The videos are extremely similar to the Don’t Flop Entertainment’s “Drops” series as artists are found in local streets with an instrumental and a film crew and they do what they do best. Gizmo has already had around 2 and a half thousand views in 3 days and it is something we are fully supporting here at the box! Gizmo and Ceezlin both killed the beats they were on and represented themselves extremely well.
