This August, cloaked in the countryside near Tunbridge Wells, Forgotten Fields festival will make its debut. From the creators of Kendal Calling, the festival will feature headliners such as De La Soul, Razorlight, Basement Jaxx and The Horrors.

Intimacy is the focus of the event, which has a limited capacity of only 4000. “Quality over quantity” is how the festival creators describe it, and with a solid lineup spread over only five stages, it’s a description which fits.

If you’re a fan of indie rock, Forgotten Fields is for you – the festival’s lineup (which you can view here) is jam packed full of indie bands, popular and lesser known. British Sea Power, Augustines and Beans on Toast are among the headliners, which also include folk-punk act Levellers and Super Furry Animals. You can also check out their official Spotify playlist before the festival here.

Forgotten Fields is also fairly affordable compared to most other three day affairs – at the moment tickets are selling for £95. They also offer coach travel from Brighton and the journey only takes one hour.

Forgotten Fields takes place in Eridge Deer Park near Tunbridge Wells on the 7th-9th of August. For more information and tickets, visit their website.
