We get all different genres of music sent to us at Soapbox HQ but for the first time I can personally say, I got to listen to some dubstep for this review! That’s some very sick dubstep of that as well, not all about a 5-10 second period of waiting for and spazzing out to a drop but some good, chilled out music that I liked a lot from start to finish.

Imperial Audio brings us their sixth project (IMP006) with a northwest based producer called Feonix who absolutely crushes it with these two tracks. The first track is called “Squarefeet” which is the more chilled of the 2 songs and had me nodding my head at the simplistic yet effective approach to the track. The tune is a lot less like your stereotypical dubstep instrumental however was a great product and had me coming back for more.

The second track however was my favourite and is a certified banger! “The Wrench” had me on repeat wishing I could listen to dubstep more when I am out. A little more in the mould of your normal dubstep track with a conventional build up and drop but even then the drop catches you a little off guard. The drop is worth the wait as Feonix uses a robotic/ tool like sound throughout that will definitely have you rewinding again and again.
